Enough rain already? Sick of the gloom? We are too. We have a cure. Check out our new ham and cheese croissants! I rolled the ham and cheese in when I was shaping the croissants. Then baked fresh this morning. Rather than the usual slice open a croissant, add some ham and cheese and heat in a sandwich press. They are truly delicious and will probably chase the rain clouds away all on their own! Paired with a coffee we are probably looking at lasting World peace.

We don't know everyone by name, but we do try. We probably know how you like your coffee, your favourite bread, and your dog's name. We don't use qr codes for ordering, and probably never will. We like to keep it simple, personal and friendly. We hope you like it here as much as we like having you.

Friday Bread day Happy day! Gluten free and wheat sourdough available Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Fresh bread in the cafe tomorrow! Sourdough and Gluten Free. If you follow Basket Range Baker gf you'll have seen that we won't be serving gluten free croissants just yet!

This is not Gluten Free. But it's a seriously good croissant. Paula will be baking more just like it Tuesday morning to bring down to the cafe. Felicity and I need to catch up on some sleep, but very excited to start working on our process and recipe to see if we can make seriously good gluten free croissants.

We are back home in Adelaide a little earlier than we had planned. Dropped into the cafe this morning on the way home from the airport. Honestly the best coffee, croissants and gluten free cinnamon scrolls we've had in weeks!

And tomorrow there'll be bread as well!

ANZAC Day opening hours. 8.00 to 12.00. That gives us plenty of time to attend our local dawn service before serving you delicious coffee, tea, treats and bread as usual.

We, (Felicity and Phil) are doing a bit of cycling while we are in Italy. Today was a wet one. Apparently "light showers" is Italian for Pouring Rain. But it was a hoot. Not cold and no wind. And towards the end we stumbled upon the most delightful, welcoming, homely "Tavola Calda" literally Hot Table, basically a licensed Cafe, you can imagine. A simple menu, changing daily. Lovely staff, with about 3 English words between them. Locals. Soccer on the TV. Most recently redecorated in about 1963. It was perfect. Rame & Cioccolato (Copper & Chocolate) in a village called Patrignone, near Arrezzo.
