Today isn’t just about donuts. It’s about the women who helped make them famous 🍩
National Donut Day was first established in 1938 to honour the Salvation Army’s “Donut Lassies” ... later known as the Donut Dollies... the women who served fresh donuts, coffee and a little comfort to soldiers during wartime.
At Dolly’s, our name is a nod to those remarkable women and the legacy they left behind.
To celebrate National Donut Day, we’re serving up one of our favourites: four hot cinnamon donuts for just $4 today.
So grab a coffee, share a donut (or don’t), and join us in celebrating the Donut Dollies and the sweet tradition they inspired.
Happy National Donut Day. 🤎
