- Alicorn themed
- 4th Birthday

This was one I really put thought & focus on the main character/theme. I mean i always do....but it challenged me more. I really wanted to have all focus on this beautiful pink Alicorn!

Isn't she pretty?!

The request was for an Alicorn and rainbow cake with main colour being pink. The creativity was left purely to me, with inspiration of Giseles toy & birthday invitation in mind (see last two pics for inspo pics).

I put a fair bit of metallic looking glitter spray also on the entire cake to give that fairytale/magical look.
Not to worry....the spray is edible. 😄

I should mention this cake was for back in November. It wasnt even summer yet but that day had reached 38 degrees.....I cannot say I wasn't nervous, but the cake stayed perfectly intact that entire day.🙏🏼☺️

PART 2.
BTS build of John Paul's soccer ball cake.

So many of you reached out overnight showing me love on yesterday's reel.🙏🏼
Main question being, can we see, or is there a part 2?....🤭 love it!

As you can see here, nothing is flawless or perfect, However I am persistent in getting my work as perfect as possible.
It represents me, what im about, and what i love so I want to make sure each job is presented with the most love and care i can possibly put into it.

During this video you'll see imperfections that I insist on fixing to give it that flawless look.

PART 1. Behind the scenes build of John Paul's birthday cake. ⚽️

I got to make my first ever soccer ball cake back in November.
Not only a soccer ball, but a spherical shaped one.

I don't like to have too much waste, so i baked as close as possible to the size/shaped i required, then began the trimming and shaping process.

These pretties went out to a bridal shower celebration back in November.

These are my, Vanilla bean pana cotta (with fresh fruits) & caramel cream cheesecake cups.

My cups are a good portioned size, measuring 125mls in liquid. Example.....a good slice of cheesecake! 😋

Why do 10 inch cakes always seem so big to work with, and heavy as hell. I weighed this up at 14kg prior to the final buttercream coat & decor.🙃

Here is part 1 of Reg's 90th birthday cake made back in November.

This cake was transported all the way to our National Park by the client and in 38 degree heat!

Im very particular in how I assemble my cakes to ensure the best an safest possible way for transport & display.... But of course, nothing is bulletproof. 😄
