JOB VACANCY – LANDSCAPING TEAM MEMBER / HR DRIVER
Join a busy, fast-paced and growing landscaping company!
Our long-term driver is moving away to Victoria. Which has now created an amazing opportunity to put a new staff member into our close-knit team at Dirt Cheap.
This opportunity, which doesn’t come around often, is to work alongside the owner, with customers on one-to-one basis and work within an office environment in a local landscaping yard.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking team member to join our landscaping business.
This is a hands-on role, willing to learn, and can work well in a fast-paced environment. No two days are the same, and we are looking for someone who is prepared to get involved and help wherever needed.
What we are looking for:
• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence – Open
• An understanding of the landscaping/civil industry
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Able to communicate with customers & help with their needs
• Basic computer skills
The Role Includes:
• Driving and operating HR vehicles as required
• Loading and unloading materials
• Working in the yard and assisting with day-to-day duties
• Keeping the yard, vehicles and equipment organised and tidy
