A small price update from the Crumpeteers 🥞

Over the coming weeks, you may notice a small increase in the price of Millett Road crumpets at your local stockist and at our market stalls.

Like many small food businesses, we've seen ongoing increases in wages, transport, ingredients and other operating costs. We've absorbed these increases for as long as possible, but a small adjustment is now needed to help keep us sustainable.

This increase helps us continue paying fair wages, sourcing quality local ingredients, supporting community food programs, and baking the crumpets you know and love.

Thank you for supporting local baking, local jobs, and a stronger local food system. We couldn't do it without you.

July is looking delicious, Crumpeteers!

We'll be at our four regular Farmers Markets this month, loaded up with fresh sourdough crumpets and plenty of toasted crumpet goodness.

We're on the hunt for a couple of new legends to join the Millett Road team!

We're currently looking for:

🧽 A Commercial Kitchen Cleaner & Mixer

Regular Monday shift
Usually 10am–4pm (with some flexibility)
Commercial kitchen experience essential

🔥 Crumpet Makers

Around 2 shifts per week
Experience is a bonus, but not essential for the right person

Both roles are perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a small, passionate team!

💰 Casual base rate of $35.20/hour, with the opportunity to move to Permanent Part-Time after 3 months.

⏰ Most shifts start at 8am or 10am and finish by 4pm at the latest.

🚗 Applicants must be 18+ years old and have reliable transport. We're based in Gisborne South, and there is no public transport.

We're a small sourdough bakery making crumpets the slow way and supplying homes, cafés, retailers and farmers' markets across Melbourne and beyond. If you love good food, take pride in your work, and think you'd make a great Crumpeteer, we'd love to hear from you.

📣 June Market Update from the Crumpeteers! 📣

A slightly different month for us this June as we take a little break from our Melbourne market adventures.

You'll find us at:

🥞 Saturday 6 June – Woodend Community Farmers' Market
🥞 Saturday 27 June – Lancefield & District Farmers' Market

Unfortunately, we won't be at the Alphington or Carlton Farmers Markets this month. We'll miss seeing all our Melbourne Crumpeteers, but we'll be back to our usual market schedule in July!

As always, pre-orders are highly recommended to make sure your favourite crumpets are waiting for you. Simply follow the link in our bio and we'll have them packed and ready for collection.
