Hi Likers & Followers,

What a busy week it has been! With so many last-minute orders coming through, I just couldn’t say no, because no child should go without a birthday cake on their special day.

This week I created a magical unicorn cake featuring a colorful fault lines filled with sprinkles. The horn, ears and eyes were all laser cut by me, with the horn and ears finished in custom vinyl.

A superhero cake for Charlotte’s 4th birthday, complete with an acrylic topper designed and made by me, along with an edible printed cake wrap.

A KPOP inspired Demon Hunters cake for Millie, one of my very first cakes of this style! Even though Demon Hunters is incredibly popular, this was such a fun design to create and I’d absolutely love to make more like it. The topper, number 7 and stars were all custom designed and cut by me.

The Hello Kitty rainbow swirl cupcakes, also made especially for Millie’s celebration.

I truly hope everyone loved their cakes as much as I loved creating them.

Hey Likers and Followers,

I whipped up a super cute cake with bunting for a first birthday celebration, and created a fabulous 70th birthday cake splashed with pink and accented with gold. Plus, I made some delightful pink and yellow cupcakes for a baby shower and adorable purple daisy cupcakes paired with pink ones topped with rainbow sprinkles.

I still can't spill the beans about that surprise I mentioned. Fingers crossed it won’t be much longer!

I know I teased some exciting news last time, but I can’t spill the beans just yet! Fingers crossed it won't be too long until I can share!

Hi Likers and Followers,

Can you believe another month has already flown by? And yes… another whole month of me being a little too quiet on my socials! Life behind the scenes in the Nothing Butt Cupcake kitchen has been a bit slower lately, but sometimes quiet moments lead to the most exciting new adventures.

I have made a few fun creations in the last month, chocolate cupcakes topped with rich chocolate buttercream and biscuit “dirt,” finished with adorable digger toppers featuring the birthday boy’s face. There was also a bright yellow daisy themed cake, along with plain cupcakes in a variety of beautiful colours.

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been creating quite a few acrylic cake toppers and edible images, which have been a great way to add those personalised finishing touches to your own cakes and cupcakes.

And… I do have something very exciting that I can’t quite announce just yet! Stay tuned because I can’t wait to share it with you all when the time comes.

Hi Likers and Followers,

I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since my last post! Time really flies, doesn’t it? We’re already heading into week three of Term 1 for all the parents out there with kids at school. It feels like this year is zooming by already!

Now, onto the fun stuff! Over the past month, I whipped up some delicious cupcakes for a super excited K-Pop fan, and I even created a stunning cupcake tower for a young man’s 21st birthday, which was a surprise from his mum! I set everything up at the lovely Lara Hotel, on a cupcake tower. Just today, I delivered a special Minecraft cake to Laser Quest in Geelong City. I hope Percy had the most amazing birthday ever!

Hi Likers and Followers,

I know, I know, it’s been a hot minute since my last post! But guess what? I spent a fabulous family getaway in Japan to wrap up 2025 with a bang! I’ve been back for a few weeks now, getting back into the groove of everyday life. I do have to admit, I’m missing Japan, it was truly an unforgettable holiday!

To kick things off after my return, I whipped up some delightful cupcakes for my son’s 16th birthday! After that, I made some adorable beach themed cupcakes, followed by special cupcakes topped with acrylic toppers for a 21st birthday and even a bluey cake!

If you’re looking to sweeten up your celebrations this year with cupcakes or a cake, I’m always here and happy to chat!

Hi Likers and Followers,

Just like that, this is my last cake and cupcakes for the year! I won't be taking any more orders until I return from my much needed family holiday on December 28th. Can you believe how fast this year flew by?

I hope Ari had a fantastic seventh birthday! I’m excited to have made him the surprise "The Bad Guys" themed birthday cake for the second year in a row. It's such a privilege to keep being part of his special celebrations!

Wishing each of you a "Very Merry Christmas"! I hope Santa treats you all well. I’ll be soaking in the sights and flavors of Kyoto, Japan, and I might just get lucky with a bit of a white Christmas!

Hi Likers and Followers,

Can you believe it’s already been a month since I last shared my cake creations? Time flies! Unfortunately, this year hasn’t brought in as many orders as I would have hoped, but I remain dedicated to crafting exceptional quality and beautiful cakes and cupcakes. I would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word about my work!

As we wrap up the year, I want to take a moment to send out an early wish for a Very Merry Christmas to all of you! I’ll be enjoying some quality time with my family taking a 3 week holiday, but I’m hopeful I can share my last creation of the year with you all next week, no promises though!

This past month has been lovely, with some delightful cakes and cupcakes! I had the joy of crafting cupcakes for McDonald’s McHappy Day once again. Plus, I created a sweet caramel popcorn cake for a 55th birthday celebration, a cake for the Japanese students at my son’s school who were farewelled back to Japan, my very first tooth cake, a fabulous pink disco cake, and a stunning butterfly cake.

If this happens to be my last post for the year, I want to wish everyone a fantastic New Year ahead! Thank you for all your support, and I look forward to helping you all make your next year even sweeter.

Celebrating 18 years of birthday cakes for my eldest son! It feels like just yesterday I was baking his first cake, and now he’s officially an adult. For this milestone, I created a fun cake design that features photos of him from baby days all the way to 17, film roll! The topper, which I handcrafted, combines laser-cut acrylic with vinyl lettering.

I also had the exciting opportunity to make a scary Harley Quinn cake for a regular customer. Complete with roses and edible blood, it definitely made for a thrilling birthday!!
