I love when it’s my babies birthdays, I can give anything a go, the best part that they always love what I come up with. For my son’s birthday, his request was crocodiles. I made a chocolate cake, creamy whipped chocolate ganache and American buttercream and my first attempt at a jelly dam! Which to my surprise turned out better than expected, even the nerve racking drive to the venue and the hoping it would be placed in the fridge until we needed it. All went to plan, what a relief 😁😁😋

Another to add for this month, chocolate cake with very creamy whipped chocolate ganache and fruit and chocolate buttercream. Soooo good. Probably one of my favs and stayed moist for a whole week even after it had been cut and just wrapped in cling wrap. Yum. 😋

Sweet first birthday cake. First tier, chocolate cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling and vanilla buttercream. Second tier, vanilla cake with Oreo buttercream and vanilla buttercream. Very heavy cake so lots of support dowels to safely make the drive to the venue 50mins away. Arrived in one piece, what a relief haha. The cake was a hit. Fed 50+ people and some came back for seconds.

A definite request- must have coloured lollipops and hot wheel theme, cars are not race cars without spoilers “wings”. Haha
