Born out of a love for gourmet cooking, The Meating House opened its doors on Exhibition Street in November 2017 with a desire to give Melbourne CBD a premium eating experience. Specialising in pastries and experimenting with meat, we have created the best pies that Melbourne has to offer as well as being home to the famous BBQ Southern Sanga. Open throughout the working week, we are creating a breakfast and lunch experience befitting of the customers who desire to dine in or to take their meals with them. The Meating House is proud to freshly bake our pies, both traditional and experimental, in our state of the art commercial kitchen in our Exhibition Street building. Our friendly cafe staff are attentive to the needs of the public and can suggest items from our diverse menu to satisfy any hunger cravings and requirements you may have.
