A little photo dump of what I’ve been creating while I’ve been quiet 💖

Sometimes when I’m not posting… I’m still very much in it.

Still piping.
Still learning.
Still creating beautiful things for beautiful people.
Still making a mess of my kitchen and calling it passion 😂

Over the past few months, these pieces were made with a lot of love:

✨ A pastel bento box for a very special birthday girl
✨ Bee + butterfly cupcakes for an art fundraiser event
✨ A cupcake bouquet created at a cupcake retreat that filled my cup in more ways than one

And every one of them reminded me that creativity doesn’t always need to be loud to be alive.

I think I needed this quieter season. Time to sharpen my skills, get inspired again, and remember that Gee’s Treats has always been about more than just selling sweets.

It’s about making people feel special.
It’s about creating joy.
It’s about turning butter, sugar and ideas into something memorable.

Anyway… I’m still here. Still creating. Still dreaming. And probably still covered in icing somewhere.

A little comeback post… and she’s a special one 💖

I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately. Less posting, more creating. More learning. More time spent making beautiful things for the people closest to me.

And this cake? It was for one of my best friend’s birthday.

Now technically… it was her 40th.
But spiritually, emotionally and visually… we’re going with 30 😂

I wanted to make something that felt like her — bright, bold, warm, full of personality and full of love. So instead of just making a cake, I wanted to tell her story through it.

Photos of the people she loves most, florals bursting with colour, and flavours worth celebrating:

✨ The 3 = vanilla with dreamy Swiss meringue buttercream
✨ The 0 = creamy Biscoff goodness

This was one of those cakes that reminded me why I love what I do. Cakes can be beautiful, sure — but when they feel personal, they become something else entirely.

And yes… we’ll be celebrating her 30th again next year too.

If you ask me for Biscoff… I’m not giving you a polite little hint of it 🤎

I’m giving you the full Gee’s Treats treatment.

This cake was for my partner’s brother Tyler for his birthday, and his one request was simple: Biscoff.

Say less.

So I made him a 6-inch Biscoff loaded beauty with silky Biscoff Swiss meringue buttercream on the outside and through the layers, melted Biscoff through the centre, a thick Biscoff drip, biscuit crumb around the cake and piled through the middle, topped with biscuits like the crown it deserved.

And the sponge? Soft, delicate, brown sugar + cinnamon goodness that made the whole thing taste like a warm hug with attitude.

The best part was hearing him say it was the best cake he’s ever had in his life.

Now… I don’t like to brag.

But I will absolutely be bringing that comment up whenever appropriate for the next 7–10 years 😂👌

Honestly, this is my favourite kind of cake to make. Personal, over-the-top in the best way, and made for people you care about.

A whole year of loving her… celebrated in one perfect, tiny moment. 🍓🩷

A first birthday isn’t just a milestone — it’s a story.
Of late nights, early mornings, tiny hands, first words, deep giggles, and a kind of love that grows faster than they do.

Maia’s “Berry First Birthday” felt like all of those moments gathered in one place — soft, tender, beautifully intentional. The kind of celebration that makes you pause and realise just how much can change in a single year.

The sweetest part?
These cookies sit beside the people who adore her most. In the photos. In the memories. In the “remember when she was this little?” moments you’ll hold onto forever.

Stepping back into creating after a little break… and I couldn’t have wished for a sweeter moment to return to.

✨ Sometimes, you need to hit pause to come back stronger. ✨

I can’t put into words how grateful I am for every single order, message, and bit of support you’ve given Gee’s Treats. You’ve trusted me to be part of your moments — from birthdays to hens, from “just because” gifts to milestones that mean the world. 💕

Right now, it’s time for me to take a short pause — to look after my health, spend time with family, and catch up on the parts of life that often get squeezed in around the cookies.

I’ll be back with fresh creativity (and probably too many new cookie ideas 😂). From late November through the end of 2025, I’ll be taking on just a few orders — so if you have something special in mind, DM me your ideas.

Twenty.
Such a beautiful, strange, in-between kind of age.

You’ve grown so much, but there’s still so much ahead of you. You’re starting to really know who you are — what lights you up, what drains you, what you’ll never settle for again. And you’re realising that becoming isn’t about arriving, it’s about unfolding — slowly, fully, bravely.

Cassandra, this set was made just for you. Soft pinks, bold bows, and a little sparkle — delicate, but strong. Feminine, but with edge. A bit like you.

I hope your twenties are full of becoming — of saying yes to joy, no to anything that doesn’t feel right, and building a life that fits you. Not what’s expected, not what’s trending, but what’s true.

Here’s to big dreams, quiet confidence, and celebrating the little moments that matter along the way.
