Frank Carroll’s Transport Museum (2 doors up from the German Bakehouse) will be open with lots to see (well worth a look if you haven’t already) $10 entry to the museum. Plenty of parking for show vehicles along Lysaght Street, at the German Bakehouse & the museum too.

The German Bakehouse is looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team!
This is a casual position offering 3-5 days per week, Monday-Friday.
➡️ Location- 1/54 Junction Drive, Coolum Beach, 4573 ⬅️

Your duties include:
▪️Prepare and decorate pastries or cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream, fillings etc.
▪️Preparing custom made pastries/cakes for orders.
▪️Preparing doughs for different products, eg; danish, strudel, pies, sausage rolls.
▪️Prepare, cook and bake savoury items such as sausage rolls, pies and quiches.
▪️Ensure cleanliness of the bakery.

To be considered for this role, you will need to:
▪️Have a passion for pastry.
▪️Have previous experience in a similar role.
▪️Have knowledge of all bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, sheeter etc.
▪️Have understanding of kitchen health and safety, and food safety principles.
▪️Have a positive attitude and love working in a team environment.

The German Bakehouse is on the lookout for 2 juniors to join our weekend FOH team at Corooy Cafe!

2 shifts available:
• Saturday 7:00am-2:30pm
•Sunday 7:00am-2:00pm

No experience required! Just need a positive attitude! ☺️

Your duties will be⬇️
▪️Operating the POS system and cash handling
▪️Running food from the kitchen to tables
▪️Standard end of day cleaning
▪️Restocking drinks, pies, cakes etc
▪️Operating a commercial dishwasher
