Looking for supervisor in our cafe bakery to start immediately.

Must be available for 30 hours / week set shifts, minimum.

Experience in bakery customer service is highly preferred; over the counter customer service (deli, takeaway counter etc) required.

6 months minimum experience in coffee making is required.

Must be available for 530am starts for 5-8 hr shifts.

Must be available for 10am starts and 4pm finishes.

We offer good pay and we're a good group of people. We're a small, hardworking family business looking to welcome a new face.

We need a team member who will reliably turn up for shifts, is comfortable in a customer service role, is a quick learner and is capable of independent work and leading up to two other team members in opening and/or closing operations.

Merry Christmas Worrigee!

The Worrigee Bakehouse team put in a monster effort by selling 1096 Croissants, and over 2000 bread rolls today. This would not have been possible without our legendary team who worked today, as they were the ones who made this possible. Our team is the best, the coolest and the crumbiest 🥐🥐🥐

We want to do a shout out to everyone who came down and shopped local, and chose the little guy. Without the community, we would be eating all the cakes, pies and bread ourselves 🤣

Another shout out to all the kind people who came in, and wished us happy holidays and a merry Christmas. It’s really nice to receive great feedback before the end of the year, as well as it encourages us to keep on improving things in every field. Thank you 🎄

Just another shout out to the customers who bought us socks, wines, chocolates, plants and even some indie coffee cups! It bakes our heart golden with a gooey centre, to know that we have great friends in the community who support us, and can appreciate the human element of running a small business in these tough times. Champions 🎅

Are you looking to have fun?! Are you looking to be 100% on the books?! Do you love cakes, pies and coffee!? Worrigee Bakehouse is the place for you.

We are looking for people who are passionate about coffee making and cake decorating. This is the opportunity to let your imaginations run wild. We have 3 positions available!

2 x Front of house of positions where you will be required to make coffees, sell cakes and have fun 🤩
- hours will be +20 per week with starting times of either 6:00 or 10:30
- suitable for people who enjoy making coffee, as we pump 45kg coffee per week

1 x Cake decorator position where you will be decorating cakes early in the morning.
- hours will be +20 hours per week with starting times of between 3:00 and 4:00
- suitable for people who are passionate about delivering a beautiful product.

These positions advertised are for a mid-January start.

Good morning legends,

Worrigee Bakehouse wants to do a shout out to all the wonderful people who have donated boxes and boxes of books over the year. Without our awesome clientele, the book shelf would not be possible.

We love being in this little community, because people look after one another. They make sure that the people who are doing it tough, have some books to read.

Every Book makes a difference to someone’s life, and all of you who have contributed, have made a huge difference without realising a thing.

Along with our plant-based cupcakes, we're doing a rich vegan banana bread with pops of dark chocolate throughout.
