ANNOUNCEMENT:
I have made the decision to close Papa Pasty April 2nd. I was a different person when I began Papa Pasty five years ago, I had so much passion for cooking and business and while I still love it (I’m yet to wake up with the fear of going to work even on those 3am mornings) I’m just not sure if I have it in me to keep it going. I have grown so much as a person and have found new passions and interests that I can’t wait delve into further. I want to continue to study, go travelling, move back to Melbourne and have fun without the burden of trying to run a business in this tricky economy and the environmental factors that markets so heavily rely on.
I want to thank each and everyone of you - from my Woopi/Coffs customers who supported me from my very first market where I was so nervous to see if this silly little idea I had to make and sell vegan pasties would work to all my Newy and Sydney angels who literally kept my business alive during COVID. I’m so fkn grateful that I got to call this my job for the past five years, for all the places I got to go and all the people I got to work with. While this is sad I’m also so incredibly excited for the future.
I’d really love to see you all one last time so if you want pasties before I go, I’ll be at Sydney vegan Market 19th march and Olive tree market April 1st. Buy in bulk before I’m gone for good. I’ll also do deliveries around newy up until the 1st so message me if you can’t get to a market.
