Hi everyone, you may have noticed I haven’t posted in quite awhile, I have now completely merged Sweet Affection Cake Designs with Cakes of Distinction - Melbourne and will no longer be posting here.

I took some time off with my husband and enjoyed a trip to Greece. We had an amazing holiday and plenty of time to think about my business.

I have decided that due to the many enquiries that I always receive for fake wedding cakes, offering a beautiful range for hire would be a great opportunity for couples who already have dessert as part of their menu at the reception and still wanting the WOW factor on their wedding day.

Such beautiful contrast, white and green. The flower wall was simply amazing! A simple design adorned with pearls and finished off with fresh blooms.
I created this gorgeous 3 tier back in December for Rasit & Seda.
Since lockdown ended it’s been absolutely crazy and I haven’t had a chance to post, but all the same thrilled that weddings are on again and I’m creating.

An exciting bit of news
“LOVE ME”
The new series on Binge.
Back in September I was approached by Warner Bros Australia asking if they can film a small part of their new series in my shop.
The filming took a whole 7 hours for only a short segment in one of their episodes.
I met with both Hugo Weaving and Heather Mitchell. Hugo had so much cake during the day yet we don’t see him even tasting it in the episode.
