Never ever give up on your dreams no matter how big or small they may be!

It's been an emotional couple of days with tears of joy flowing randomly from time to time because I'm here living life.

I dreamt of this day for so long.

Please, if you're going through something big and scary, just keep holding onto hope and never give up. 🙏🏻

I'm putting myself outside of my comfort zone again and will be attending this little creators market in Cooroy, QLD in a couple of weeks.

I'll have my original artworks, greeting cards and Heart Led Healing card decks available.

I'm also hoping to raise some funds for Little Haven Palliative Care and Cancer Support who are the earth angels that supported me (and still do) through my time in palliative care.

If you're a local come down for a look and to show your support to other local creators from the Noosa Hinterlands.

Hi, and welcome to my page 🧡🫶🏼🩷

If you're new here, you've most likely been sent my way because you're looking for hope & inspiration on your own healing journey.

That's exactly what I aim to do here.

I'm Kirsten, a 39yr old woman sharing my story of healing my mind, body & soul through the greatest lesson of my life; stage 4 "incurable" cancer.

This journey of mine has never been just about healing the physical cancer in my body. Cancer was just the nudge (or should I say extreme push) to look at all of the underlying things I needed to heal from childhood to teen to new mum to being a longtime people pleaser.

My hope is that my story will help you on your own journey to take your healing into your own hands, to live life in peace & to not fear the lessons (diagnosis) that you are given in this lifetime.

Thank you for being here and remember, you have hope & you can choose love & peace over fear.

Good morning followers, you may notice a few changes in here as I navigate a new way of life.

Most of you came here to see my cake and cookie creations over the 8 years that I was running my business and I am thankful to each and everyone of you who has supported me in some way.

I am now on a different path, one that is ever unfolding and won't ever be set in stone. This comes from all of the lessons I have learnt in my recent cancer journey.

Through my cancer journey I was able to pursue my dream of learning how to paint with watercolour. I have found so much healing in this medium that I want to sit with it further and share it with you all should you wish to stick around.

This page will now be used as a way of still sharing my creativity, just with a new medium/s. I will also share my healing and lessons from my lived experiences to help others on their own healing journeys.

I'm excited to continue evolving and sharing my creative passions with you all again.

My favourite slice recipe 🩷

Hedgehog slices have always been my favourite but now that I eat differently, I make this yummy raw version instead.

I used a thermomix but you can use whatever powerful blender you have.

If you don't have fresh medjool dates you can use dried dates. Just make sure you soak them in hot water for about 5 minutes first to rehydrate them.

Healing after the healing...

This is a bit of a long one but I think it's something we don't realise people go through with such a life changing disease.

I'd love to know, if you've been on or are on a similar journey, how have you continued the healing after the healing?

Why did I create these Heart Led Healing cards?

In a session with my counselor he asked me "so what's next?" As a way of helping me look at ways I can move forward from all that I've been through as I mentioned I was feeling lost after coming through the depths of the healing journey.

I said that I want to help people again but not in a way that burns me out. I've been a people pleaser all my life and pushed myself to the brink of disease.

I also wanted to share my story of hope so that other people who are going through a big healing journey like mine (not just cancer specifically) could have someone to look to in times of need. Just the way I had a few people to follow & gain strength and hope from their stories.

One of the hardest parts of the journey was going to the hospital. It just didn't feel like healing to me but there were times when I really needed to be there so I would pack a deck of angel cards to give me something to do whilst in there. I used them to help guide me through difficult decisions & as journal prompts. Hospital wards are also very cold & clinical so I thought I could create something vibrant to give life to other people's days when they're in hospital for days or weeks on end.

So that's the story of how these beautiful cards were created. Each of the 28 cards includes a message that I received or an affirmation I used during my journey & I painted artwork to go with each one.

I hope those of you who have already ordered a deck are enjoying them as much as I am. 🧡🙏🏻🩷
