Helllo everyone! I have received some requests for an acarajé day over the past months, for those missing the taste of our most traditional dish in Bahia, I decided to book a FAREWELL ACARAJÉ DAY for March 08, 2026. I will be serving from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
I want to thank all my clients who love my acarajé for your support and trust. I will keep catering cakes, croquettes and sweets for parties and events. Acarajé is a very labour intense dish and I treat it as a labour of love for this flavoursome dish from our beloved Afro-Brazilian culture. But it has become difficult to keep offering acarajé, and I have no plans to offer acarajé again.
My acarajé is GLUTEN FREE and includes:
- Black eyed bean bread,
Vatapá: dish made with dried shrimps, toasted peanuts and cashew, coconut milk, herbs, and dendê palm oil.
- Carurú: dish made with okra, dried shrimps, coconut milk, onions, and toasted nuts cooked with dendê palm oil.
- Vinaigrette salad
