Sweet Nostalgia is about creating cake memories, of bringing my joy and passion to you and seeing your face light up. My first ever cake memory was at the age of 4, making cupcakeswith my beloved Nanna who is my cake inspiration. I'm Amanda a stay at home mum who is obsessed with all things baking & decorating and will strive to give you the best cake and special memories that I can, because that'

Delicately spiced apples with a crunchy crumble, smothered in butterscotch (insert drool noises)

After being told repeatedly during, and since the weekend, that “people don’t go to Gourmet for dessert” I’ll take that as a hint and chalk it up as an experience.
It was very much an honour to have been asked.

BUT I did love the catering aspect of the process and it took me back to my apprentice chef TAFE days.
Who knows, maybe I’ll give up cakes and go into dessert catering??
Maybe I’ll offer random dessert pop ups around the place??
The possibilities are endless really.
