Sweet Nostalgia is about creating cake memories, of bringing my joy and passion to you and seeing your face light up. My first ever cake memory was at the age of 4, making cupcakeswith my beloved Nanna who is my cake inspiration. I'm Amanda a stay at home mum who is obsessed with all things baking & decorating and will strive to give you the best cake and special memories that I can, because that'

I'm a perfectionist and extremely passionate and I believe my cake creations reflect that. Everything is handmade and handcrafted by me and that's the way I'll always be, packet mix will never find a spot in my pantry! So you can be assured that I will create a quality product for you.. Don’t you forget about me 🎶🎶

The ever effervescent Carissa said goodbye to Claymore Wines after eleventy hundred (18 years actually) and what better way to celebrate, than with a farewell cake featuring song lyrics - if you know you know.

Lyric inspo provided by the queen herself.

In the colours of her fave wine label, sprinkles matched the vintage stripes to a T 👌🏻 and a hand cut fondant silhouette of the iconic cinematic moment in question.

To my beautiful customers,

This hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but it’s time to listen to what my heart has been trying to tell me.

After pouring so much love, time, and energy into every order, I’ve realised I need to take a breath, and refill my own cup.
So for now, I’ll be taking a break from accepting NEW orders.

I’ll still be completing all existing bookings, and they’ll still created with the utmost of love, but my order book will be closed while I take some time to rest, reconnect with my family, and rediscover the joy that first inspired me to start this little business.

I’ll also be offering winter bakes and random spot sales so I’m not disappearing totally.

To everyone who has trusted me to be part of your celebrations—thank you. Every order, every message, every recommendation, and every bit of encouragement has meant more than I can put into words.

This isn’t the end—just a season of choosing balance, so that when I return, I can create with the same passion and care you’ve always known.

Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and continued support.
I promise I’ll be back!
