Nathan Bakes was born of a passion that life is too short for bad cake - for anyone....all too often those with dietary requirements or preferences miss out, or worse, are fobbed off with sub-par offerings and when it comes to cake, that makes us sad.
We are a 100% vegan & gluten free bakery, but you wouldn’t know it nibbling on our moist, tasty inventive flavors (such as Strawberry Balsamic, Danger Zone!, or Salted Caramel Choc Mud) - our philosophy is that everyone should be able to share the same delicious cake, so that’s what we provide.
Since qualifying as a pastry chef all those years ago Nathan, head baker, has tinkered with, perfected & played with a range of recipes from standard sponge, to fudgey brownie, to meringue & macarons to make desserts & cakes that are accessible to all as well as both looking & tasting awesome.
Since launching Nathan Bakes we have developed a range of wedding cakes, cupcakes, dessert buffet offerings, ‘its Tuesday!’ cake as well as a taste of Nathan Bakes everyday with our jars of sweet offerings to take home with you. We have worked with both small intimate celebrations of 10, to large scale fiestas of 250 and are excited by making your individual needs listened to and met - customer service is only second to delicious cake to us and we strive to deliver an entire experience you enjoy so you can sit back and enjoy the sweeter things in life - at Nathan Bakes, no matter your dietary requirements or those of your guests, we prove you can have your cake and eat it too!
