GOLD GOLD GOLD!!!!! I'm excited, thrilled, elated, a little excited and just plain ol proud to announce FUMBLESTILTSKIN BAKEHOUSE GRABBED GOLD for our Hickory smoked maple meat lovers pie at the Official Great Aussie Pie competition yesterday! Good morning beautiful people! Here we are, a cold Melbourne morning, on our way into the biggest baking show of the year and what a year it's been! Gold at Australia's best pie was a highlight for little old Fumblestiltskin and after a few very long days of preparation we are here to contest the nations oldest baking competition, The Great Aussie pie competition!

What a week it's been! I've always been taught you shouldn't care what others think, for example, I think you should be able to eat dinner for breakfast and call it dikfast, but who cares what I think? Yesterday at Australia's Best Pie comp in Queensland I found myself caring what others thought though. Especially when the judges thought little old FUMBLESTILTSKIN BAKEHOUSE WAS WORTH GOLD FOR OUR NEW PIE! WOOOOOHOOOO!
That's right folks! Our newest creation, SEEDED SMOKEHOUSE BRISKET turned a few heads and showed the nation what our beautiful town can do! We also got silver for our Hickory smoked maple meatlovers and our French honey chicken! Not bahhd hey!
I'm super excited folks, come down and help us celebrate with some of the best pies in the nation!

My trusty side kick has made new butterscotch brownies and there's something wrong with them. I ate one and couldn't pick what the hell she's done, so I ate four more and still can't work it out.
