Have bows had their moment?

I was scrolling through my photo feed last night and was surprised to come across so many pics of cakes I’ve made in the last year which featured bows. I hadn’t really noticed until I was scrolling just how requested they had been.

Fabric bows, fondant bows, big bows, little ones…. Do you think bows on cakes are overrated or that it’s time to move on to something different?
