We have yet again found ourselves in a position where we have to put up a post regarding abusive behaviour exhibited toward our Staff. After upgrading the size of a cake for no extra cost and speaking to the Customer in store, who was absolutely on board after the face to face conversation and explanation regarding the size upgrade, I have just been abused over the phone, I have been called HORENDOUS names, yelled at by 2 people, once to the point where I had to end the call, harassed with back to back phone calls and we just cannot allow this type of bullying, abuse and foul language to be tolerated in any way ever again. This will be the last time I try to do something nice and Bless someone with an upgraded sizing at no extra cost in the hopes of making someone’s Birthday even just a little bit more Special. We will not disclose company break downs, we are very good at what we do, our pricing is fair, consistent across the industry, conveys current stock and ingredient prices, covers our skill, our time, our talent and our experience in our field . Custom cakes are NOT JUST costed for the actual cake itself, there are multiple other factors that go in to costing cakes, no matter how elaborate or how standard cakes are…..a Custom cake, is NOT the same as a Counter cake, we cannot begin to explain how disappointed we are that people behave like this. We are sad, but, agree that they should not be returning to our store as people who choose abuse, bullying , foul behaviour and language like this are not welcome to order from us any more. I cannot allow our Wonderful Staff nor myself to be treated so poorly for simply trying to do something Nice. 💔💔💔
