A week in, and the reaction to Art Show at Grist has been just what we hoped.
People are coming in for their coffee and staying a little longer than planned. A few have come back for a second look. Some have stopped mid-bite just to take it all in.
Nine friends. Nine artists. Paintings, prints, photography, watercolours — all hanging together on the walls of your local bakery for the whole of June.
If you haven't been in yet, now's a good time. And if you have — well, there's always room for another coffee. ☕

Every Monday morning, a group of friends gathers at Grist for a cuppa, a chat, and a look at whatever's on the walls.
They met through the Get Connected program — and somewhere along the way, surrounded by ever-changing artwork and good conversation, they decided it was time to hang their own.
The result is Art Show at Grist — nine artists, nine distinct voices, one warm and wonderfully eclectic exhibition. Landscape photography. Portraits. Paintings. Prints. Watercolours. Some of these artists have practiced for decades. Others found their creative spark more recently. All of them are bound together by friendship.
It's colourful. It's personal. And it's on the walls of the bakery right now.
Come in for your morning coffee and stay a little longer than you planned. We have a feeling you won't mind.
