Here is a block cake for your Friday evening. I made this for my husbands birthday last week, and given it was a busy week and also my first use of square cakes, I wasn't really happy with how it looked. Like I needed to put something on top of it.

Anyway, this was a giant cake and not that hard to plaster, as I had imagined anyway.

I'm looking forward to this weekend and definitely need to unwind with maybe some cupcake decorating or binge watching Virgin River 🤣🤣. OR decorating and playing virgin river in the background.

Made a cake after a long time.

I'm not sure who is going to eat it 🤔 haha because we have a blank one that kids have already helped themselves to. They also decorated their own slices with leftover buttercream.

I definitely don't like my writing on the cake, haha. But this weekend is a yellow theme with the beautiful flowers I got yesterday, all in yellow.
