1st Rodeo theme birthday cake 😁

6" vanilla tall cake with vanilla buttercream.
Decorated with black fondant to create the cow print and a fondant number 1 Topper 🥳

This cake really put my fondant skills to the test, as I was covering a buttercream cake with fondant for the first time, and the outcome exceeded my expectations! I'm gaining confidence in working with fondant, which is a bonus, and I'm grateful to everyone who's been supporting Mrs Beez with their orders, enabling me to further develop my cake decorating skills! 😅🥰🎉

MOTHERS DAY CUPCAKES

This year I got asked to make some individual cupcakes for mothers day.
So I decided to go for a floral theme with a matching butterfly.

Each colour has a different flower pattern,
First blue, which was done with a simple rosette swirl and leafs.
Second Rose Red, which was hand piped rose petals to form the rose shape and added some leafs to tie it together.
Third Orange, daisy style flower which was also hand piped petals and stacked it to give it some dimension.
Fourth pink, mini rosette bouquet style piped around the cupcake in a dome shape to give the effect of the bouquet.

These cupcakes really tested my piping skills, I still have lots of improvement to do and practice but I'm quite happy with how these turned out for my first floral piped cupcakes. ☺️

I was so proud of myself !
Slowly starting to get more and more confident with using fondant!
The unicorn accessories were all made my hand with fondant and with the help of my hubby with the horn 😅😁

BERRRY SWEET FIRST BIRTHDAY CAKE!

Vanille cake filled with strawberry compote, and ofcourse the infamous vanilla buttercream 🤌🏽 topped with fresh berries and chocolate covered strawberries ❤️ and a white chocolate drip 🍰🤤

WOW ! This cake was a mission, I had a panic attack atleast 3 times while assembling the cake 😅😭

It was my first time making and using a strawberry filling and wow what a challenge but !! THANK GOODNESSSSSS for dowels, cling wrap and a fridge 😅

Not gonna lie, I'm very proud of myself with the outcome of this cake! Pushing myself and overcoming! And now I have more knowledge and experience working with fillings !!

TINKERBELL THEMED CAKE AND MINI CUPCAKES TO MATCH 😁😁

Wow...I don't think I cried so much while making a cake 😅

My first time working with fondant making cake toppers and did I underestimate how much it takes just to make a rainbow 😅
Unfortunately the mushroom didn't make the cut, luckily I ordered a bunch of Tinkerbell's was able to improvise ❤️

Lesson learned with this cake! Always good to have waay more options and icing to work with than just enough!
