Did you know how my famous Tim Tam Balls came to be? 🥹🍫

10 years ago, I was making slices when my sister said to me, “How can you make them different to everyone else? Why don’t you make them round?”

And just like that… the Biscuit Ball was born 😂

Safe to say they’ve become a little more refined over the years — these days I even weigh every single ball so they’re all the same size 🤣 — but they’re still made using that original recipe from 10 years ago.

Same recipe. Same deliciousness. Just much rounder and prettier these days 🤎

We’re joining forces!

Shannon and I are SO excited to be combining our businesses and bringing you the best of Mar & Dars + Two Birds Bakery, all under one roof.

Think of us as your new one stop shop for all things sweet & savoury ✨

From sandwiches, coffee, savoury goodies and catering … to cakes, cupcakes, cookies, slices and all your favourite sweet treats, we’ve got you covered.

Whether you’re grabbing lunch, organising an event, ordering a birthday cake or just need a little something sweet… you can now get it all in one place. 🤎

But for me, this next chapter means so much more than just growing my business.

For years, my home has also been my workplace. Cakes on the bench, orders being finished at all hours, constantly trying to juggle running a business while also being a mum.

As much as I absolutely LOVE what I do, I’m so ready to have that separation. To be able to finish work, come home and actually be home. To have my kitchen back, to switch off, and most importantly, to just be Mum to my kids when I walk through the door. 🥹🤎

It feels like such a huge step for Two Birds Bakery, but also such a special one for me and my family.

Two businesses but one very exciting new chapter.
