My posts have been few and far between lately, as between full time plus work, family and life, I don't have the same amount of time I used to.
These days I'm much more selective with the cakes and designs I take on, as it really is a labour of love.

This beauty went out over the weekend for a very special birthday and a very special lady. Vanilla cake with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, strawberry coulis filling and fresh strawberries.
I'm in love with these colours!

These days I have slowed down on the cake making front, so I am very selective about which designs and consultations I do, but this baby was such a pleasure!

Miss Ella Rae celebrated 2 years of life on Sunday. I cannot believe she is 2 years old. It feels like only yesterday we were bringing her back from the hospital!
Coconut and lime cake was a hit with adults and kiddos alike, and we are STILL coming down from the sugar high!
