About us.

Ok so, well a bit about me, I like so many others stumbled into making cupcakes and cakes for friends and family. I found I liked to make cakes and cupcakes more and more for other people after seeing the appreciation and joy that my baking brought to simple and special occasions.

I once supplied a cake to a family that was a little hard on the coin, the tears in the little girls eyes were so beautiful, it was clear it was beyond her wildest dreams. But, I don't see this as a business, im not a baker, I have a day job.

I'm self taught and just looking to continue to make people happy with my cakes and enjoy the opportunity to explore and create different types and styles of cakes to suit all types of occasions or even just because you want to eat cake. But (shhhhhh.) lets not admit that.....

I am not an expert, I don’t profess that my cakes are perfect, but what I do say is that these special cakes, these cakes that make the kids, mum, dad, gran, even the bride or old mate next door that helped with the car that time, satisfied and Cake’d Up is what keeps me baking and keeps me creative at a price that will still let you spend more money on the other important ‘stuff’.
