Eggshells are so underrated. Full of calcium and they make a perfect safe way to deter snails. Each week we dry all our shells and crush them to sprinkle around the vegie patch. I have a few jam jars spare so if you are at the markets on Thursday and have a snail problem just ask me if i have any left. 😀🙏

During the last rain event our garden suffered badly. It was so wet for so long that most things rotted. Now it seems the more i pick the faster it grows. We struggle with eggplant beetle and our basil wants to go to seed as soon as we plant it but we are harvesting lots of produce to go into our baking which makes us happy.
