And just like that one chapter closes and another begins…

12.12.2025: I delivered my final 2 wedding cakes, TODAY my business is officially closed. 7 years of cakes, 7 years of running my own business and growing it to where it is today. I have accomplished so much, learnt ALOT along the way not only about business but also about myself.

Today I hang up the apron with nothing to prove, with no doubt in my mind about my decision and with a deep appreciation of what I created and achieved. Proud is an understatement and boy have I created some amazing cakes! (Can’t wait to post the photos)

But now it’s time for family & time to look after myself 🫶🏻 time to get back into the workforce and just be MUM when I’m at home and enjoy the juggle of school, weekend sports and everything else that comes with it.

Thank you to all my beautiful customers over the years, all the wedding vendors I have had the pleasure of working with and promoting my business by word of mouth! It’s been an absolute pleasure 🫶🏻

It’s been a quiet few months on the socials 🫣

After dropping that bomb 💥 that I am not taking bookings for 2026 🤯 life got hectic.

We have been celebrating family birthdays (including my own), running around with kids sports, working my other job & then got thrown a nasty virus which turned into pneumonia 🙄 so it’s safe to say life has been a “sh** storm 🤣

But we are up and about, working our way through school holidays and getting prepared for a busy finish to 2025.

I’m back on emails and will be contacting all my upcoming couples to start confirming your cake orders 🫶🏻

Special shoutout to all those cheeky couples sending me beautiful emails asking me to create their dream cakes next year even though they understand I’m not taking bookings for 2026 😍 a part of me wants to say YES 🫣 but for now 2026 is my year off - who knows I may be back for 2027 🤷🏻‍♀️ we will just have to wait and see what happens 🙈 the universe will let me know.
