Muffins with Love

Muffins with Love Muffins with Love are baked in small batches from scratch by traditional methods passed down to me from my mother and grandmother.

When I was young I spent a lot of time with my mother and grandmother making things like muffins, cakes, desserts and cheesecakes. They used only the freshest, natural ingredients and were baking almost every day. Today I still spend most of my time in the kitchen cooking for others. I love spending time shopping for the freshest whole ingredients, fussing over making something special and baking

love into everything I make. I love creating things that are a little bit different for special requests and now I am teaching my teenage sons the enjoyment of cooking with love. Cooking and baking are never a chore when you make it with love. I hope you enjoy the flavours and range as much as I enjoy baking them for you.

Did you know…A simple and effective way to clean and deodorise your microwave, dishwasher and in-sinkerator is to use lemons.

Squeeze lemon juice into water in a cup in the microwave and heat for 2-3 minutes on high. Then leave for a few minutes and it will wipe out easy and smell fresh.

To deodorise a smelly in-sinkerator, cut strips off a lemon and run through the in-sinkerator with water—especially after having peeled prawns in the sink!

Perfect hard boiled eggs.

Cooking the perfect hard-boiled egg without it turning black or ending up powdery is simple and this method will also save you electricity/gas.
Simply add 1-4 large eggs into a small saucepan of water (room temperature) until just covered and place onto the stove on high.

Bring to the boil and allow boiling for one minute, then turn the stove off and put the timer on for 17 mins.

Run the cooked eggs under the cold water tap and let them stand in the cool water in the saucepan for approximately 3-4 minutes.

Peel and now you have perfect hard boiled eggs!
