What an honour it is to do the work I do, and to receive thanks like this......
Dawn Louise... What can I possibly say to accurately reflect how amazing she was in our time of need.
When you are going through an intense, emotional trauma you need someone to remain calm and poised to get the organizing done. You want someone who is sympathetic but not emotional, someone professional but not cold, and someone who takes charge and guides you with the utmost respect through your planning process. Dawn Louise stepped in like a bright light in a dark room to take charge and respectfully and tactfully lead us into a beautiful funeral plan and we could not be more grateful. She left us after our planning meeting with smiles on our faces as we were absolutely confident that we had the very best person there to take care of our final moments with the respect and dignity that is required.
She is classy, professional and very intuitive when it came to assessing our needs while we were blithering messes.
I could not recommend her services highly enough and though I hope we don’t need them again, if ever we do, she will be on my speed dial.

Dear Dawn
Firstly, thank you very much for the way you ran the service for W on - August. You did a wonderful job and we were both comforted by the way that you handled the proceedings, and felt that you honoured W (and us) so well. In particular, the tone and compassion with which you read the eulogy, and the way you set the overall tone of the service without projecting yourself, but rather focussing on W and the family - yet you were still totally in control. Thank you.

Secondly a request please: Would it be possible to send me a copy of the verse that you read out at the graveside? We are making a little collection of the things said at the funeral, and that is something we don't have. At that time everything was a blur - I just remember thinking that it is very beautiful, and I would like to read it again.

Hi Dawn....
I just wanted to say a truly heartfelt thank you for your wonderful tribute to my Dad last Thursday. So many people have said what a fabulous farewell to Dad it was. You were a
large part of that and your beautiful tribute and little added touches you put into the service just made it so special. Thanks also for reading my poem which you also did beautifully. I told Dad before he passed that I would write one for him so I like to think he heard it on the day. When we met you we felt an instant connection as you said you loved Scotland....we all said after you left that you were the one!! As Mum is 84 and she and all of us really were still in shock we needed a funeral director and celebrant who would take charge but be thoughtful and caring. You and Richard we there for us at a time of great sadness but like all the people there said.....a farewell to be proud of. Everything from the moment we met through to the service and finer details were done perfectly. Again thank you so much Dawn, your contribution made the day a wonderful celebration of Dad’s life. I have also sent a message to the Funeral Directors to thank them and you for making the day so special.

Such a beautiful lady and care taken to deliver my mums funeral. Every detail was meticulous, prompt, courteous and outstanding professionalism.
I cannot thank Dawn enough for every part that she took care of.
Highly recommend and no need to look else where when you need compassionate help.

Hey Dawn,

I know I sent a card but wanted to say that I received heaps of feedback on what a great service you provided. You have the perfect personality for such a difficult role - it requires great empathy and warmth but professionalism .

Mum and E as well as myself - really appreciated your words and warm and loving way you gave the service.

You gave me the recipe to pull everything together in such a short period of time Len Russell Funeral service and Andrea were wonderful and professional. Getting the AV right I think was so important I cannot thank you enough.

It will be a week on Friday since my Mum's Funeral.
I would like to thank you for being the Celebrant at her funeral..I am so grateful for the smooth running of the Order of Service...
from the initial meeting at my home to the graveside committal.
Your support & professionalism were greatly appreciated during a very emotional time for my family & me.
