Dads deserve to be spoiled rotten (even if he pretends he “doesn’t need anything” 🙄 we know the truth),so we went ALL OUT for him this year 💛

Fair warning: we don’t hire often!! We’re a small, tight-knit crew who like to find our person and grow together for the long haul so if you’re after a role you can really settle into (not just a stopgap), keep reading👇

Is this you?

🌱 You’re genuinely passionate about vegan food and love being part of a community that cares
💗 you bring VIBES ✨ you’re fun, positive & chatty and bring energyyyy ✨
☕️ You’ve got 1+ years in a FOH all rounder role
💪 You’re a gun on the coffee machine (or close to it, we’ll happily polish your skills with extra training)
🍪 Youve got experience handling rushes 🏃‍♀️
🚗 You live locally or have your own wheels, so you can be flexible with availability
🍩 the role is for shifts that start at 7am or 2pm (this role will not suit someone who’s currently in school)
💗 You thrive in a small business environment where the team builds each other up
📅 24-30 hours available. Casual at the start!

What happened today we could not have planned for!

We had a line out the door 20 mins before open today.
Normally for big days like this, we plan down to the last detail, we’re ready for anything!
But TODAY..
7am hit and our doughnut dough just… gave up. Batch after batch, fail after fail 😩 (WHY TODAY?! never happened before)

We blinked and it was 8am, the shop was PACKED, and we were nowhere close to ready with the doughnuts.
Even our pizza focaccia didn’t hit the oven till 8:30, and we know that’s exactly what half of you came in for 🫠

But panic isn’t really our style, We kept calm, kept moving, and kept the team together because everyone’s giving their best! We trusted that the second that focaccia came out, it wouldn’t stand a chance of surviving long! and honestly, it took 1 hour 20 mins for most flavours to sell out.

somewhere in the madness we completely lost count of how many doughnuts we were making 🤣 (totally trusted our instincts yesterday to buy extra strawbs! 🍓)
Ended up with 200+ extra doughnuts 😂 Turns out that was less “mistake” and more MEANT TO BE because every single one sold out 👏👏 and that’s what happens when you roll with the punches 😌

THANK YOU to every single person who waited!!! we so so appreciate you!

Tysm to everyone that queued up & patiently waited to be served! We had 9 of us on this morning and we were still running! 🏃‍♀️ probs as busy as Christmas! CRAZY! 🤪
The new shift team is clocking on now and keeping our doors open until 9pm tonight 😌

What’s left:
🍕ONLY One flavour of pizza foccacia left! They flew out the door! & we made 15 massive trays!
🍩 Churros are going till tonight 8:30pm!!
🍥 Cinnayumms sold out!
🍓 we still have strawberry long John’s but starwberey custard donuts are sold out!
thanks to our legends bakers for making 400 today because it would be a sin to cook on a public holiday 😌
🌭 we have dagwoood dogs left and they’ll probs sell out around 5pm👌
🥧 we’ve just taken out pies and rolls from the oven for lunch time !
🧁 and we have plenty of the the usual Veganyumm sweets!
