To our wonderful Customers,
It is with immense sadness we let you know that we have made the difficult decision to close Chaffey’s Bakery.
For nearly 6 and a half years, along with our dedicated staff, we have thrown our heart and soul into baking quality products, which we have always tried to offer at competitive prices to our customers.
We are proud of the reputation we have built over the years, not only within our own community, but surrounding areas as well.
The rising cost of running a small business however, has made it tough to stay on top of things, while still trying to remain competitive.
The last year or so has been very stressful, and it has all finally come to a head. To say we are devastated is an understatement. However, we wouldn’t have had 6 wonderful years without our amazing customers!
So our sincere, heartfelt thanks goes to you for your unwavering support and friendship, and for all the memories we will cherish for years to come. Whether you purchased from us once or twice, or were a “Regular,” every sale has meant the world to us.
We know this closure will come as an inconvenience to some of you, and for that we are truly sorry.
We plan on keeping the Bakery mobile connected for now, so we’re always available for a chat and we’d welcome the chance to express our gratitude. We aren’t leaving the area, so we will probably see a lot of you around. We have grown fond of this area and community.
Who knows, we may start working on some ideas that will allow us to continue to make our much loved Vanilla Slice and other products on a smaller scale, to sell at local markets or cafes. Never say never! We think it will be very hard to walk away from this life altogether!
