Five Minutes Peace

Some of you may remember this dolls house from my home play visits, well it is time to find the house a new home! The house plus furniture is up for grabs outside my place in Brentnall St (Corner of Wordsworth St) Norman Park.
I received it second hand and it has been well played with so it is in a fair condition (a door needs to be reattached). I will keep it out today until sunset & then weather permitting I will put it back outside tomorrow for pickup.

I am slowly sorting through all my equipment and materials after 7 years of collecting and stockpiling, now it is time to go! I have a table outside my apartment place on Brentnall St (corner of Wordsworth St) Norman Park of craft supplies for FREE! If you are in the neighbourhood please take what you want. All set up and ready to go at the Brisbane Kite Festival from 10am-3pm at the Tingalpa Aero Club, Stanton Rd West, Tingalpa. I have all the old favourites such as homemade playdough, truck sand play, Magnatiles and dinosaurs and unicorns playtrays. It’s all FREE! You can’t miss me I am right next to the Yummi Fruit Ice Cream truck! See you soon. 💜

Well this is it, my last Five Minutes Peace event but it’s a good one! This Sunday I will be at the Brisbane Kite Festival at the Tingalpa Model Aero Club, 10am-3pm with lots of my favourite sensory and messy play activities for the early years. Please drop in for some fun and say hello.

After 7 years I have decided to CLOSE Five Minutes Peace. Basically I have runout of Oomph and with my kindy work from Monday to Friday I would like to have my weekends free to recharge and spend time with my family (eventhough they are almost independent) and enjoy this stage of my life.
I have totally loved my FMP journey, I have met so many beautiful families who invited me into their homes and included me in their children’s early years life. From home play visits, birthday parties, playgroups, messy play mornings and community events I am ever so grateful for your support, kindness and good times.
Most of all I would like to thank my family, my husband Alistair, daughters Claudia & Lydia who have helped behind and in front of the scenes and have been my biggest cheerleaders. I know over the years I have not been there for you especially on weekends but you have always been so understanding. Love you all so much!
I wish you all the very best for the future , you are all doing an amazing job in this crazy, challenging , constant but utterly worthwhile path that is parenting. Take care & stay MESSY!

I have been working at this beautiful kindy this year and we are having an Open Day & Art Show on Saturday 15 June 10am-12pm. All very welcome!

We are opening our doors to our local community on Saturday 15th June, 2024 from 10am to 12pm.

All community members are invited to join us, especially current, past and future Kindy families.

If you are curious about enrolling your child in Kindergarten for 2025 and beyond, we would love for you to visit us. Waiting List application fees will be waived on the day, so it is the perfect time to secure your child's place.

*FREE KINDY* in 2025 for all eligible age children (15 hours per week) as funded by the QLD State Government.
