This week's family meal is all about keeping warm on these cooler evenings.

Today's fresh salads are our Moroccan beatroot, carrot and feta . Also a Green goddess with cabbage, kale , cucumber, greens and loaded with fresh herbs and edamame with an avocado yoghurt dressing.

Ps, I had the goddess for dinner last night and it was truly amazing!

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and we’re getting ready for one of our favourite days of the year 💐

We’ll be open from 6:15 AM to 2:00 PM, with bookings available from 11:30 AM onwards. This year, we’ll be serving our special Mother’s Day High Tea exclusively at our outdoor tables.

Bookings are essential, so be sure to secure your spot early! We are doing online bookings only, and they must be prepaid before the event.

Prefer to celebrate at home? We’ll also be offering our High Tea takeaway picnic boxes — perfect for a relaxed Mother’s Day. Orders must be placed by 8:00 PM on Wednesday, 8th May.

Other than slightly shorter days, it’s business as usual at Happy Days this Easter long weekend.

**Sunday** will be a little different — we’ll be open for coffee, bakery items, and cakes only, with a limited team, and closing early at 10:00am.

Just wanted to give a big shout-out to Kath, Colin and the whole team for the Arts & Eats event last night — what an incredibly well-run and well-attended evening!

I’ve been to a couple of these in the past, but they just keep getting better and better each year. There were so many fantastic local artists and entertainers there last night, along with great food trucks and a huge number of enthusiastic volunteers who made it all happen.

It’s such a wonderful event for The Gap community. I’m already looking forward to the next one and would encourage everyone to come along next year — you definitely won’t regret it!
