Nasi lemak. Malaysian street food. Can be eaten for breakfast or lunch. It's coconut rice served with a chilli sambal,cucumber,peanuts, fried sprats and fried chicken on a banana leaf. This dish is usually wrapped in banana leaf in Malaysia street food stalls.

Goreng pisang - Malaysian street food. (Banana fritters). As soon as my mum finish work she will buy Goreng pisang for afternoon tea. As a little girl l would patiently wait for this food. I also learned that in Sri lanka they make Goreng pisang too but they eat it with treacle. Which is also nice. So try it plain or with treacle for afternoon tea. It's just thick pancake batter coated with banana and fried till golden brown.
