A huge congratulations to The Baker's Duck in Toowoomba on taking out 1st place, and to Mal's Pies & Pastries in Oonoonba for securing 2nd. 🥧👏

We’re incredibly proud to be named 3rd Best Bakery in Queensland. For a small country bakery in Blackbutt, standing alongside such outstanding bakeries is an honour.

Thank you to our amazing customers, staff, family, friends and community who support us every day. Your loyalty, encouragement and love of great bakery food make achievements like this possible.

At dawn we pause, the town stands still,
The morning air, the silence fills.
Before the ovens hum to life,
We honour courage, loss and sacrifice.

For those who served, for those who gave,
For mates who stood, for hearts so brave.
Their spirit lives in towns like ours,
In simple things, in strength that flowers.

Today we remember, with grateful hearts,
A legacy that never departs.
From all of us at Blackbutt Bakery,
Lest we forget. 🌺

With deep appreciation, we remember those who gave so much, and we thank those who continue to serve our country today. We will close during the Street March and Main Service to pay our respects and reopen once they have concluded. Lest we forget. 🌺
