Where do I begin with how this gloriously blessed life has brought me to now? This mish mash of life experiences that makes up Sharma is built on a sturdy foundation of fun, f**k ups, friends, failings, family, falling, letting go and learning the imperative life art of turning lead into gold. I am Blessed…I genuinely feel this way, not every minute of every day, but as a whole in a quiet moment o

f retrospection. I grew up near the beach, I love being outside. Hiking, creating, swimming, eating, dancing, reading, writing, drawing, painting, building, making, yoga, flowers, faeries, singing, sleeping, baking, sharing and loving are my greatest joys. I know that covers nearly everything, what can I say I am deliciously in love with life, myself, food & Ronny, who by no coincidence is a chef, but more than that he is my life partner, teacher, voice of practical reason and my closest friend. I have worked in hospitality on and off since I was 14, spending more than half of one’s life time in such an industry gives you 2 things, an absolute love of people and also a loathing of them (also known as hospitality burnout)
Ronny and I ran our own café for 4 years, it was full on, we juggled front of house, behind the scenes and social life. We were basically tired as f**k, all the time. We now seek a more peaceful life with a slower pace. Aum Noms sprung from this, it is a culmination of all my loves, my creativity and my desire for a more balanced life. I now spend “some” of my days baking and not baking sweet delights for cafes, wholefood stores, market stalls and private functions. I also paint bellies for mums to be, blend herbal teas and run workshops to share this delicious life. My own health journey has lead me to specialise in gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free, most of my products are 1, 2 or all 3 of these. My food infatuation however, has not allowed me to compromise on taste, I love to create foods that everyone can enjoy and no one will ever know you are that “special” guest. Life is for sharing!

Did you know celebration cakes are my favourite? I find being a part of someone's special moment such an honour, especially when they give me creative licence in my decoration.

I haven't got an oven at the moment so loving the exploration and expansion of my raw cake repertoire.

Organic, Gluten free, Vegan, Silky smooth, made with maple syrup.....sound like you hit me up ♡

After almost 6 months of Ronny baking for me and me not looking like I want to take back over any time soon....we have decided to give Aum Noms a break for a while....until we can evolve this business to suit our little family more....we still love cake but Elvy is just the best one we have ever baked & we can now Aum Nom nom on her all day long😉...Thank you every for your support over the years....watch this space for new adventures and yummy things ###
