December is celebration month in our household with 6 family birthdays as well as Christmas. The only cake I have made this year is my daughters 8th birthday. Inspired by Katherine Sabbath it reflects her fun and creative nature. She helped me choose the colours and decorations. Great team work ♥

Cashew milk smoothie.. Sounds divine. I don't think cashew milk is sold in Oz but here's how to make it yourself.

Use 100g cashews (or any other nut) to 500g water.
- Soak the nuts in water overnight.
- Drain the water then blend them with 500g water.
- Strain the mixture through a cloth bag to remove any pulp.

Hello!! It's been a while.. I'm still in renovation mode. Not long before I'm back in action. Just had a thought about a great point of discussion which I will address if future posts.

We all know how to bake a cake, and sure we can watch YouTube videos to learn about working with fondant. However, there's something that can't be taught. That's a great eye for design, and BALANCE of elements on a cake. So many pretty decorations but it just doesn't look right? Can this be taught..? Hmm. Something to think about before you go to bed on this Sunday night :-) Till next time xx
