I didn’t start baking cupcakes until I was in my 40’s and am completely self-taught. I joined the Australian Army as a musician at 17 and still play the flute today. I am a trained music teacher, have AMusA (with distinction) on flute, I worked as a Braille Music Transcriber for 16 years transcribing print music into braille for blind musicians, I am also a published author. Are cupcakes my passion? Of course but Flute is too; I have been playing since I was 11 years old. Funny where life leads us.
