IS A TRIFECTA ON THE CARDS?! 🥹🏆

Still pinching myself that I’ve been nominated for Fondant Cookie Artist of the Year AND Cookie Business of the Year with the Australian Cake Decorating Network.

After bringing home ACADA's Fondant Cookie Artist of the Year in August, the thought of potentially making it a trifecta is actually WILD! When I said that was just the beginning for The Button Co, I truly meant it!

Again this time, you guys get a say in Cookie Business of the Year! Fondant Cookie Artist of the year is judged by a panel!

Just when I think I’ve made every baby shower theme… another one lands in my inbox 🥹 And I’m absolutely not mad about it. I love that there are still new themes coming through four years on that I haven’t had the chance to create yet!

“What’s the most chaotic thing you’ve convinced yourself is self care?”

Mine? Starting a small business.

I literally started The Button Co to give my brain a break from the endless cycle of naps, snacks and mum life. I remember thinking, “If I can make 2 dozen cookies a week, I’ll be happy.”

Cute. 😂

Now some weeks I’m making upwards of 45 dozen, answering messages at all hours, spending money to make money and somehow giving myself a boss with absolutely ZERO boundaries.

A month of late nights, early mornings, a ridiculous amount of fondant, juggling business life with mum life… and somehow squeezing in a trip across the country to come home as Cookie Artist of the Year 🥹

Safe to say August will be a hard one to top.

Now onto September… and the beginning of silly season 😅🍪
