I was so grateful to be able to make this 90th birthday cake!

When I got a text from Alicia to make her grandmother’s birthday cake, as busy a weekend as it was with basketball provincials - I could not say no!

Mrs. Murphy was my grade 3 teacher at St. Joseph’s Elementary school in Harbour Main, and she was the absolute BEST! She was caring, compassionate and made learning fun. I have great memories of our concerts and events from her classroom. In fact, I have a cassette tape recording of our “Caught Red Pawed” play as we were practicing our lines in the classroom.

Happy 90th birthday Mrs. Murphy - you haven’t changed one bit - still as beautiful as ever inside and out! Here’s to many more! I hope you enjoyed your celebration with your family.

Today was a special day. My 2 favourite littlest people turned 3!! First of all…how did that happen and second - they are the sweetest! They are true little boys who love running with their trucks but love a good cuddle at the same time. They loved their cake - especially the stuff the dump trucks were hauling 🤣! And yet another 50th birthday. My SIL turned 50 and celebrated in style with family and friends!! Vanilla cake with Swiss meringue and strawberries. Homemade strawberry macarons, meringues and dipped strawberries to decorate.

Well…it was a busy January with kids activities, work travel and of course…BIRTHDAYS!

My OLDER sister 🤣 turned 50 and her friends planned a surprise party for her. Charlene requested a funny cake and well..Maxine is pretty funny. Went with a cupcake cake for ease of serving!

Happiest of birthdays Steph! I know you had the best time celebrating with family and friends 🎂💕!!
