The lovely Mandy loves this design and recently took this bouquet of red velvet cupcakes with her to Tasmania!

She was stopped in the Launceston airport by a sniffer dog and her handler to ask if these were real flowers! 😳

What a huge compliment!

Needless to say, she took them off to her family where they all were amazed that she had travelled all that way with them!

For those of you who may not know, I grew up in Brunswick.

Yesterday was the 90th birthday celebration for the Brunswick Hall where many a dance, wedding reception, sporting event, school concert etc was held.

I had the honour of being asked to create a celebratory birthday cake and mini cupcakes for the event.

It was a fabulous show and I got to say hello and talk to so many people I hadn’t seen in years. 😍

Derek and I went to school together and his lovely wife (who didn’t know) organised this for him. It is the first time I’ve seen him since high school days and it was so nice to say hi.
