Did you know that we don't just look after your 2 legged family and friends but also have some delicious options for your 4 legged babies too?! This gorgeous 4" cake was for a special boys 3rd birthday. Packed with lots of healthy ingredients, then iced with pumpkin and nut butter frosting and topped with fresh blueberries (the colours of his favourite ball). He was kind enough to share some of his cake, but after being very polite and graceful, wolfed the final layer down before anymore could be taken 🤣 So glad he loved his beautiful cake!

I've been waiting for a Taylor Swift cake request and finally got to make this gorgeous "Lover" inspired cake. I was left with a complete creative license, it just had to be Taylor Swift inspired. I'll be honest, it was pretty tough not to go over the top. I wanted to just keep adding friendship bracelets, sprinkles, and piping, but I managed to reign it in 🙈 Millie, the head of quality control, was convinced the bracelets were made from real beads. So it was a huge success 🙌

I have loved the idea of Bento cakes for a long time. Some people use them as the real tier of a wedding cake, so they have something to cut while cupcakes are handed out to guests, others get them to enjoy all to themselves with a good movie on the sofa on a friday night and sometimes you need something a little more special than cupcakes. I love gifting cakes for any special occasion, and there's something about a Bento cake that just make it more special. Don't get me wrong, as a parent, I love cupcakes. They are quick to hand out, with minimal mess and no plates needing to be washed up (that's my favourite part!). Sometimes however you want to celebrate life's big wins, your best friends new job, sisters promotion, cousins first house, whatever the occassion, gifting a gorgeous Bento cake will always be a personal, special treat.

Every year, my girls, Millie and Belle, get to pick any cake for their birthdays. Some years, their creativity is with the flavours and sometimes its all about aesthetic. This year, Belle asked me to surprise her with a cake. She had told her friends that the cake was going to be incredible and couldn't wait to see it, so I had to pull out all the stops. A few years ago, I had an idea to do a vanity, and as she's got older, her makeup collection has grown. So this year, she got a vanity complete with her own reflection (edible image) and working lights. This was the most time-consuming cake I've ever made, but it was worth every second to see her shocked face at the real lights and edible globes. Im safe for another year 🙈
