It’s been a while since ‘Samii’s Cakes’ was up and running. If you’ve sent my page a message with no reply I extend my deepest apologies.
After the passing of my daughter I’ve had the equivalent of writers block, cakers block if you will.

But it’s time to make a come back and I look forward to creating a cake for your next occasion and sharing all the deliciousness along the way! ✨

Little late night progression post / sneak peak of an order for this weekend!

Slightly embarrassed to even post this but it’s a great example to never stop pushing yourself. I hate, HATE! working with fondant, whether it’s covering a cake or making figurines it’s just time consuming, fiddly and something I’ve never been confident in (and let’s be honest fondant tastes icky!).

I’m still not confident but I’m proud of how far I’ve come! Both bears hand sculpted.

My love for baking started with my daughter’s 1st Birthday cake. Growing up my Mum always told us that birthdays were special and always required a home baked cake. I’ve carried on that tradition (well mostly with the exception one year because I was in hospital). But I also understand not everyone is as lucky as I am, to have the time to bake special cakes. That’s where Justice Cakes comes into things. Let me do the baking for you! I treat every order as if it was my kids birthday, or wedding, baptism, engagement, etc. Baked and decorated with love, as its an honour to play a part of someones special day.
