Last Friday Allora Regional Sports Museum Inc. celebrated the opening of their Wikner Showroom and we made a cake to celebrate! This car is owned by the Partingtons and is Australia oldest race car and it’s got prime pos right here in Allora in its shiny new showroom! If you haven’t been to check out the Sports Museum, be sure to, it’s incredible. Alongside the opening, Allora Cars and Coffee run a special Friday event. Allora cars and coffee runs on a Saturday morning in the Main Street of Allora, showcasing cars of all kinds. If you’re looking for a Saturday outing come and checkout both and our lovely little CBD.

I love a good party theme and this one was fantastic! Gangsters, money and cool cars- the whole backdrop of the party was hand made by the clever birthday man into a vintage bank, complete with his pride and joy car parked right behind his cake! These bank notes may have taken forever and a day to roll but how cool are they (and edible!).

Happy Saturday everyone!
It’s been a long time between posts but we’ve had a really busy couple of months. Just wanted to share this pretty cake we made for a special little lady celebrating her baptism recently. These flowers I have been perfecting from a recent class I took, although taught with American buttercream I’ve been working on them in Swiss meringue, it is tricky but fun to perfect! I have so many beautiful creations to share, hoping to catch some time tomorrow to upload them all. We are also very very behind on getting back to messages and email, please be assured I will catchup over the next day or so, sorry!
How good have the school holidays been! We don’t want them to end!

Today was a fun one. We had a little trip over the hill to Harrisville to attend a cupcake decorating class with Simone from .cupcake.floristry. It was brilliant, lots learnt and now I just want to only pipe flowers 🤭
How sweet is my creation! Overflowing with inspiration after a morning out of our own kitchen 😍 it pays to invest in yourself and your own skills, thanks Simone!

We’ve had a couple of special days in our house this week with Indiana and Koko celebrating their birthdays! Cake for home and cupcakes for school friends!

Hope everyone had a great Easter! Hard to believe it’s all over for another year. It’s been a really busy few weeks here and I’m well behind on replying to everyone’s messages (‘not me’ has also broken my laptop so I’m ’borrowing’ the kids 🤦🏼‍♀️) I will get back to everyone over the weekend.
