🌴 WE’RE TAKING A SHORT BREAK 🌴
We miss you guys too and we totally understand the feeling of being hangry 😅
Just a reminder, for the Shannons out there, we’re not a franchise with endless staff, we’re a very small family business, we’re human too and we deserve a holiday. People often forget that behind small businesses are real people with families, not machines expected to run nonstop.
It’s always interesting to see comments that don’t reflect our service, our effort, or the hours we put in, especially when they seem to come down to not being able to get a pie. Tina and Vinh work really long hours and days, and like every human being, we’re entitled to breaks and days off. Finding balance is important, even if it means we aren’t open every moment someone feels like a snack.
We admit, we probably should’ve posted this earlier, but we’ve been busy lately trying to get our ducks in a row so when we come back we’re better than ever. We are reaching Christmas so there will be days where we will be off 🎄
It’s clear the review came from frustration (or pure pie-related desperation), but that doesn’t make the comments fair. We really do hope you find a bit of empathy and compassion next time. We can’t please everyone, but hopefully you find somewhere to ease the heartbreak temporarily.
