These little cuties were my first official sugar cookie test run for my bestie’s son’s 2nd birthday. How cute are they?! 🥹
I’ll be honest, I never thought I’d go down the sugar cookie route. Most sugar cookies I’ve tried have been pretty average, so I wanted to create something I’d actually be excited to eat.
After plenty of testing, I’ve developed a hybrid shortbread sugar cookie – combining the shape-holding ability of a traditional sugar cookie with the buttery flavour and crumbly texture of a shortbread. The result? A cookie that looks good and tastes even better. ✨
Next up, I’ll be experimenting with designs featuring multi-coloured fondant and round cookies topped with edible images (local businesses, stay tuned 👀).
