Hello all. As you all know we had to DJ's cookies and more due to health reasons. One of the main issues was having to work stupid long hours due to lack of equipment and space. It is with great pleasure I can announce we will now have a full bakery at our disposal and a shop front where you can come and purchase our tasty treats.
Please like and share our new page Spectrum bakery. We will still be working to our old ethos of working and employing wonderful people of the spectrum and hope to do so much more now we have the space to do so.

We are hoping to open around the last week of January but this is still fluid and will be updated the closer we get to the date. 😊😊😊

To all of our customers and supporters it is with a very heavy heart and great sadness I am having to write this post. Due to a very big health wake up call yesterday I am having close down DJ's cookies & more.

My son and I started this little cookie company three years ago in our kitchen at home. We had no idea how we would grow into what we are today, supplying over 15 cafes with tasty treats. We would like thank each and every single one of you who was part of this from our humble beginning to now. I would also like to thank the Marden senior collage for their support in letting us set up on the school ground, there is no way we could achieved the things we had done with out their help.

As most people with know Djs cookies and more was heavily involved with working with and trying to support people who are on the Autism spectrum. Our biggest regret will be not being able to work/employ more Autistic people as this was such a highlight of our job.

We do hope that one day in the future we may be able to start again but unfortunately for the foreseeable future my physical health has to come first.

Today we had a fund raiser for Autism SA. We had the spit roast going making chicken or Lamb yiros. The guys came along and helped make and serve the staff and students from Marden senior collage. They did an amazing job problem solving and facing fears of talking to the public. We are so very proud of every single one of them. 😊😊😊😊😊🌯🌯🌯

We are very sorry but due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be at the Marden farmers Market this week.
We will back again next week.

It has taken us while but we are now offering wholesale croissants. Plain, almond and pain au chocolat. We only use the best ingredients and strictly use butter not bakers margarine products in out croissants.

We are at the Marden farmers market today. More than half of the croissants are gone before 830. Get down here before they are all gone!!.

We are back!! We will be at the Marden Farmers market tomorrow morning. This will be our first of what we hope to be a regular thing at Marden. We will be offering all our tasty cookies and cakes plus our freshly baked sour doughs. So come down nice and early while the bread is still warm 🍞🍞🍪🍪🍰🍰🍰

Meet our new crew from Autism S.A. They been with us now for a few week and have take to baking like ducks to water.
We are so lucky and privileged to be able to have them each week for a few hours. We wouldnt be able to do what we do with out their help. So a huge thank you to the Next step program run by Autism S.A. for bringing them here each week.
