Be mine workshop with Lower Northern Cake Decorators group on Saturday was so much fun. It was great catching up with everyone.
Modelling, stencilling, and how to use a stamp were just a few of the skills covered on the day.

Thank you to Brenden and the Peninsula & District Branch Qld for the invite to demonstrate today.
Due to the high humidity this was the stickiest demonstration I’ve ever done!
After 3 days in the caravan trying to make some more demo pieces I had to give up as nothing was drying and even the bits I had made months ago had become too sticky to touch. thanks to everyone for being so understanding.
It was great to see so many people attend today even with all the rain.
Two demonstrations, shops, raffle prizes and to finish the afternoon a fantastic afternoon tea.
Thanks to all involved today for making it a wonderful afternoon.

This was a 21st cake made to look like the computer tower Trey built.
I made the cake and Gary made the computer. The cake was a white chocolate mud cake infused with berry liquor and Rosella jam sandwiched with chocolate ganache.
As you can see it had working lights that you could change the colour with a remote.
Gary did a fantastic job.

It’s so great to be able to attend Sugarcraft Days again.
Catching up with friends.
Watching demonstrations and learning new skills.
There was so much to eat, homemade lasagna, apple crumble, sticky date for lunch.
Morning and afternoon tea the homemade slices, scones and cream. I didn’t walk out to my car I rolled. 😝
The demonstrations showed
1: a quick method to dry edible flowers and how to attach to fondant.
2: Chocolate moulds. Fillings and decorating
3: Lisianthus
4: Protea Repens
The demonstrations were presented so well that you felt you could go home and make them.
It was a great day and a big thanks to the Southern Highlands Branch for such a well organised day.

I have had the best weekend in Camden.
If you check out the poster we started with Annemarie of Scotland on Friday night. Then Saturday, there were 4 great demonstrations, as you can see from the pictures. And if that wasn’t enough 2 workshops on Sunday!!
It was all available to watch by zoom to members, how good was that?
Did you also see “Nothing To Pay”
Wow talk about giving back to your members!
I would like to say a big thank you to the Cake Decorators Guild NSW for inviting me to demonstrate and for a fantastic weekend. Also to all the committee members who worked to make the weekend run smoothly, food, equipment and technical skills. Well done to you all.
I also enjoyed catching up with everyone, face to face.
