Renn Artisan Macarons came to be when a then dental student with a love for baking and an engineer with a penchant for food photography met up and got to talking about their passions in life. They were both ordinary people living through the humdrum of life but decided then that they would be extraordinary and embark on an adventure together. We first started off trading as Mac by Renn in 2015, de

buting in Flinder’s Street Market’s Sweet Tooth event. We were first-time stall holders and it was the first time the public tasted our macarons. We are constantly striving to improve our products and accessibility to our customers. With this online store, we hope to be one step closer to making it more convenient for everyone to get their hands on our handcrafted macarons. Thank you dear customers who have been with us throughout the years. To us, Renn Artisan Macarons is more than just a business, it is a platform for us to communicate our passion and express ourselves. We aim to create the perfect gift to celebrate the special occasions in life, whether it be birthdays, weddings, Valentine’s Day, Christmas or just because! In April work ground to a halt for us with all the restrictions that kicked in and having all that free time turned us into full time gamers. While I embarked on a quest to save Varrock city of Gielinor from fire breathing dragons in Old School RuneScape, Tee-Ni was busy collecting all the exotic fishes and bugs in the latest darling of the gaming world - Animal Crossing New Horizons. In fact, our previous macaron fundraiser was inspired by her favourite characters in ACNH. Among those cute islanders, Daisy Mae’s design really intrigued me. Hence I thought, why not make the “stalkbroker” of ACNH into a cake for Tee-Ni’s birthday? This is the fruition of the thought.

For the last 10 years, Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Emergency Relief Program has been assisting South Australians doing it tough through the provision of food parcels and financial relief.
While government funding is available to them, this support has been halved since December 2019. As a result, the capacity to purchase food has been reduced and relief days were reduced from four days per week to two in 2020.
This year has brought a lot of uncertainties to many of us. Some may have even struggled to feed themselves and their families. Hence, we have decided to step up to support WestCare the best we can.
Your generosity and support in our Animal Crossing Macarons fundraiser have enabled us to purchase and deliver 538 food items to Baptist Care SA last week. Once again, thank you for participating in this great cause.
For those who have missed out on our macarons, stay tuned as we will be organising our last fundraiser of the year during Christmas.

The pandemic has certainly revealed many new perspectives in our lives. While life has adjusted to “new normal” or even busier for some of us, there are many who are not as fortunate. With that in mind, we are excited to announce another fundraiser to support the homeless through Baptist Care SA
This time, we are thrilled to bring you a very popular game theme: Animal Crossing! They are priced at $30 for a box of 6 macarons. All proceeds will be contributed to Baptist Care SA in the form of food donations. The macarons flavours are as such:
- Tom Nook (nutella)
- Isabelle (lemon)
- Pascal (biscoff)
- K.K. Slider (salted caramel)
- Celeste (strawberry)
- Daisy Mae (peanut butter)
Our previous fundraisers have been very successful thanks to your generosity and support; we were able to support two local restaurants and encourage medical front-liners in two hospitals (FMC and WCH). We are anticipating the same response with the fundraiser this time so do message us to put in your orders early so you don’t miss out on these AC islanders! 😉

Our healthcare heroes macaron fundraiser is still ongoing! With Mother’s day just around the corner, our box of 6 macarons will be a perfect gift not just for mum, but would also go to support a local restaurant and healthcare workers (please refer to our previous posts)!
Priced at $30 per box, you will get six handcrafted macarons with assorted flavours. Send us a message to place your order, we will forward you the payment and pick up details. Pick up for Mother’s day will be in Prospect on Friday 8th of May (4-6pm) or Saturday 9th of May (4-6pm).

After weeks of pumping out macarons, it was a wonderful harvest of our efforts when we delivered our first food order to the Emergency Department in Women’s and Children’s Hospital!
First of all, a huge thank you to those who have participated in our healthcare macarons fundraiser. Your generosity has supported a local business and the healthcare workers.
Special thanks to our friend, Dr Anjali, for coordinating our food delivery and helping us set this up. Thank you to the WCH team for doing what you do. A big shoutout as well to for preparing the best Korean food in Adelaide to feed the ED team. Please check out their page and continue to support them through this challenging time, seriously guys, their Korean fried chicken is the BOMB.
For those who have missed out, there is still an opportunity for you to support this cause. We do have more healthcare macaron sets for sale and they will be an excellent gift idea for Mother’s Day! S U R R E A L
Just last month I was complaining about working too many hours and now with the new workplace restrictions, Tee-Ni and I will be working significantly less, probably for the next few months. Even in these challenging times, we count ourselves blessed to be able to cushion the impact of what these changes bring in our lives.
With the unexpected long break we have ahead of us, we have decided to step up and support the F & B community and the healthcare workers at the frontlines in a two-pronged approach.
How? We will be raising funds with a hospital themed macaron set. All proceeds will go into supporting local restaurants and cafes with food orders to be delivered to our hospitals to support our frontliners. This way, we can encourage local F & B businesses and show appreciation to our healthcare heroes.
We are still working on the details at this stage and will communicate with the relevant parties. We will come up with a safe way to execute the plan with strict adherence to the social distancing rule.
We are now taking pre-orders at $30 per box. If you would like to be part of this great cause, please send us a DM and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

除夕 Lunar New Year Eve
52 boxes and 312 macarons later, we are thrilled to announce that we have raised $1570 from all you generous people (with some even asking us to keep the change!). Every single dollar you’ve spent has been donated equally between these three charities: 1) SA Bushfire Appeal 2) The CFS foundation 3) Wildlife Emergency Fund (WIRES).
Admittedly, it has been a very stressful two weeks completing this lunar series, but we are overwhelmed by your support and trust. Once again, THANK YOU!
The bushfires have hit Australia hard this year, but it is heartwarming to see so many organisations, businesses and individuals stepping in with support. We are proud to be part of the movement to make a difference with our little macaron army!

Hi everyone!..
With the devastation happening around Australia, we at Renn Artisan Macarons would like to help the best we know how. We will donate 100% of the sales of our Lunar New Year set to these three organisations: Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery, the CFS foundation and the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park fund..
Our Lunar New Year set will once again consist of 6 handcrafted designs all made with love by our baker. It will be $30 per box of 6 assorted macarons. We know it is a little pricier as compared to our past boxes, but we have decided to round the price up for fund raising purposes. This theme will be limited to 50 boxes. We aim to raise $1500, with every single dollar being donated..
We are taking orders now, please send us a DM. The macarons will be ready for pick up starting the 18th of Jan. Please spread the word!..
